Case Studies: A Sampling of Folklife and Cultural Tourism Projects in the United States

Over thirty cultural professionals with experience in and knowledge of folklife and cultural tourism projects were interviewed for the December 2000 report, which includes seventeen case studies in the following areas: guided tours; audiotape driving tours; self-guided trails, tours and directories; destinations and events; tourism-industry initiated projects; crafts; and tourism as part of larger initiatives.
